Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick
CONTACTS:   Parish Center at 484-0532

Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick are involved in carrying Holy Communion to the elderly, the sick and the hospitalized of the parish, and those in nursing homes that are under the care of the parish.

Eucharistic Ministers are registered parishioners who are commissioned by the church to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion in the absence of sufficient ordinary ministers. These ministers are baptized, confirmed, and have been receiving the Eucharist. The minimum age for a minister is 18, or a high school senior. All ministers must demonstrate personal and spiritual maturity.

All EOM's are interviewed and trained in the procedures of St. Mary Magdalen Parish.
